The cooperation between TVH and WAAK started in 2008, thanks to the social commitment of the families Thermote and Vanhalst and the conviction of the managers involved from the very beginning. Since then the inHouse employees of WAAK have become a permanent element in TVH's added value. Financially interesting, absorbing peaks and getting jobs done TVH cannot or will not assign to their own staff was and remains the basis of success. Back in 2008 8 WAAK employees worked at TVH, today there are no less than 85.

The mounting of small connectors is a weak link in the zero defect strategy of WAAK. Mounting small connectors as such isn't an easy job, and the correct locking check by way of a push back test is impossible because of the specific form of the connectors.

A huge "primal egg" has been installed on the site of the Palingbeek, surrounded by 600.000 statues in the form of the Panghea (the world composition before the drift of continents).
