60 years of WAAK | Customer testimonial Agristo nv
The site of Agristo NV, a West Flemish potato producer with operations worldwide, is surrounded by extensive green areas. Their maintenance is carried out by employees of WAAK’s Green Service. The two companies have been working together for more than ten years. In 2022, the collaboration was expanded with the addition of a team to operate Agristo’s Rework Department.
We asked Erwin Deloor, Group Facility Manager, and Maarten Coorevits, Green Area Manager at Agristo, about their experience of working with WAAK:
“WAAK and Agristo have been loyal partners for many years. In 2015, WAAK carried out its first green maintenance assignment at the site in Harelbeke on behalf of Agristo’s late co-founder, Luc Raes. Later, the activities were extended to our site in Wielsbeke.
The collaboration is characterised by mutual trust and a strong focus on quality and safety. WAAK’s Green Service stands out for its expertise and customer engagement. The workers take pride in their skills and their genuine passion inspires those around them.
In addition, WAAK’s workers demonstrate strong safety awareness, which is incredibly important in the food industry. For this reason, they are frequently commended by our prevention advisor. Our green zone can be a challenging environment, but thanks to close cooperation and regular evaluations, the work has become both efficient and enjoyable. The results speak for themselves!”
