WAAK, crowned in 60 years of excellence
2025 is a year of celebration for WAAK, marking exactly 60 years since our company was founded. WAAK started out in 1965 as what was then called a ‘sheltered workshop’ with four employees and has since grown into a modern social enterprise – the largest in Flanders – employing more than 2,100 people. A jubilee year such as this deserves to be celebrated extensively.
Customer event: 2026
We want to involve our stakeholders in the celebration of our 60th anniversary. We have already organised an open day (targeted at locals and local businesses) and a staff party. However, a customer event cannot be missed. This event will take place in 2026. Further details regarding the exact date and location will be provided.
