60 years of WAAK: A successful open day and spectacular staff party

Last week, we organised an open day to celebrate 60 years of WAAK. Visitors were given a unique opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes look and experience our working methods, technology, and philosophy up close.
At WAAK, we employ people who have difficulties accessing the labour market, bringing skills that differ somewhat from those of employees of regular companies. To make complex work more manageable for our workers, we use advanced technology and innovative quality control systems. This allows us to guarantee a flawless output for our clients and deliver results that are equal to—or even exceed—those of regular companies. To many visitors this was truly eye-opening. This is extremely important to us, as many people still have misconceptions about what social enterprises do and what they achieve on a daily basis. The open day helped change that perception.
In the evening, an XXL staff party followed, featuring performances by Willy Sommers and Ocean Dust. Both events were captured on film and edited into a dynamic video, which you can watch below.
