In March, WAAK will be exhibiting at three key trade fairs:

  • ESEF Maakindustrie, Utrecht, 10–13 March – Jaarbeurs Utrecht, Hall 9, Stand 09.C034
  • Machineering NextGen, Kortrijk, 26–27 March – Kortrijk Xpo, Hall 4, Stand 200
  • Global Industrie, Paris, 30 March – 2 April – Paris Nord Villepinte, Hall 5A, Stand 5H65

Each exhibition focuses on the manufacturing industry. ESEF and Machineering primarily target the metal industry, whereas Global Industrie addresses subcontracting in the broadest sense. At the first two events, we will highlight our metal assembly activities; in Paris we will present our complete range of services: cable assembly, metal assembly, plastics assembly and packaging.

ESEF Maakindustrie – Utrecht (10-13 March)

Although ESEF Maakindustrie is primarily geared towards the metal industry, it also reaches out to the wider manufacturing and subcontracting industries.

When you partner with WAAK, you have a broad range of activities under the same roof at your disposal, i.e.: metal assembly, cable assembly, plastics assembly and packaging services. Customers like EV charging station manufacturer Smappee outsource their metal assembly work to us, use our cable harnesses in their products, and rely on our employees to carry out the electrical testing of their EV chargers.

In terms of metal assembly, in addition to the most common metalworking techniques, such as laser cutting, welding, powder coating, bending and punching, we also offer manual assembly. Companies can furthermore make optimal use of our other integrated services. With these strong assets, which we will showcase at ESEF Maakindustrie, we clearly differentiate ourselves from ‘traditional’ companies whose sole core business is metalworking.

Machineering NextGen – Kortrijk (26-27 March)

The trade fair Machineering NextGen focuses on creating networking opportunities between metalworking companies. According to the organisers, products are increasingly developed through collaboration, with each company contributing from its own expertise and strengths.

Based on our experience, we endorse this approach. We frequently meet companies that organise their metalworking activities in-house, while outsourcing manual assembly or finishing to our employees. Our teams are specifically trained for these kind of tasks, and we have substantial capacity in this area.

The combination of these elements enables us to occupy a unique position within the metalworking sector. At Machineering NextGen, we will prominently highlight these strengths!

Global Industrie – Parijs (30 March – 2 April)

Global Industrie focuses on subcontracting in the broadest possible sense, bringing together exhibitors from a wide range of industries. At this exhibition, we will present our complete integrated service offering: cable assembly, plastics assembly, metal assembly and packaging, complemented by refurbishment, a service that is increasingly in demand in the circular and sustainable economy.

Our objective is to demonstrate to potential clients that WAAK is the ideal outsourcing partner for their production activities. The emphasis will be on the unburdening of customers, our strong quality focus (supported by our self-developed, advanced quality control systems) and co-engineering.

The latter is a distinctive strength in the market. Our engineering department works closely with clients to explore how their production processes (i.e. the manufacturing of their products) can be made even more efficient. This enables clients to achieve a maximum return on investment.

Our presence at Global Industrie is emphasized through the slogan “WAAK, your one-stop shop for assembly services”, which unambiguously and powerfully highlights these strengths.
